Kerala State Financial Enterprises (KSFE)

Kerala State Financial Enterprises (KSFE) is a non-banking financial company (NBFC) based in the southern Indian state of Kerala. It was established in 1969 as a government-owned entity to provide financial services to the people of Kerala.

KSFE offers a range of financial products and services, including savings schemes, loans, gold loans, chitty schemes, and insurance policies. The organization has a network of more than 600 branches across Kerala and employs over 10,000 people.

One of the most popular services offered by KSFE is its chitty scheme, which is a type of rotating savings and credit association. In this scheme, a group of people agree to contribute a fixed amount of money each month, and one member is selected through a lottery to receive the total amount collected that month. The process continues until all members have received their share of the contributions.

KSFE is known for its commitment to providing financial services to low-income and marginalized communities. It has won several awards for its innovative financial products and services and has been recognized for its contributions to financial inclusion in India.

The Kerala State Financial Enterprises Ltd is a Govt of Kerala Undertaking institution. KSFE is the biggest Non-Banking Financial Company in Kerala.

Government of Kerala started KSFE with the objective of providing an alternative to the private chit promoters with a view to bring in social control over the chit fund business.

KSFE has a branch network of 250 with 4000 direct employees and 1000 indirect employees.
