Karanayil Madom Kuttichathan Temple, Ettumana

People come to Karanayil Madom for Jathakadosham,mental disorders,failure in business, profession. Kovinda Muthappan is the adhiguru, ascetic and guide of this Madom.

Three hundred and Ninety Kuttichathans, Devi Bhuvaneswari, Nagarakshas, Brahmarakshas etc. are Upadevathamoorthies. As a part of tradition, there are many Poojas and religious rites performed here.

Sri. K.V. Padmanaban Swami is the chief ruler of Karanayil Madom now. He hails from the ancient family line of Kovindamuthappa. The Swamiji is well known for his qualities of devotion,dedication and sincerity.

Thiravellattu Maholsavam is the main festival of Bhagawan Chathan Swami. Different musical instruments are played in this festival.
