Started in 1964, the history of Alukkas is actually the history of jewellery business in Kerala. The group started jewellery trade when it was not the “in thing” in Kerala.
The tiny acorn planted by Sri Varghese Alukka, a humble but highly optimistic trader was nurtured into a mighty oak tree, spreading its branches far and wide by Sri Jose Alukka his eldest son.
