Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is an automobile manufacturer based in Chennai, India. The company was founded in 1996 and is a subsidiary of the South Korean automobile manufacturer Hyundai Motor Company.

Hyundai Motor India designs, develops, manufactures, and sells a wide range of cars including the Santro, Grand i10, Elite i20, i20 Active, Xcent, Verna, Elantra, Tucson, and Creta. The company also provides after-sales services such as vehicle servicing, repair, and maintenance, and offers genuine spare parts and accessories for its products.

Hyundai Motor India has a strong presence in India and is one of the largest car manufacturers in the country, with a market share of over 17%. The company has also been recognized for its commitment to quality and innovation, winning several awards including the J.D. Power Award for customer satisfaction and the National Energy Conservation Award.

Hyundai Motor India, continuing its tradition of being the fastest growing passenger car manufacturer, registered total sales of 299,513 vehicles in calendar year (CY) 2006, an increase of 18.5 percent over CY 2005.
