Reena Duthie
Reena Duthie, a self taught artist , born and brought up in Trivandrum, the capital of Kerala. a state in the southern most tip of India.
Completed her graduation from College for Women, Trivandrum. Now live on a hillock on the banks of the river Pamba with her husband James Duthie.
Critics call her a feminist.
Many of her paintings depicts the expressions of the feeling of hapless women, the discrimination in our society. Her favorite medium is Oil on canvas. Wax carving, Glass painting , Sketching and Water colours are the other works.
