Anweshi
Anweshi Women's Counseling Centre , is a voluntary women's organization based in Kozhikode, one of the major cities of Kerala, the southern Indian state.
Anweshi, that started out as Anweshi Women’s Counseling Centre with a group of dedicated women who got together to address issues of violence against women in the family, at the work place, within the community and under the state.
It was founded in response to the growing situation of gender related violence in Kerala.
It is in this extremely complex and difficult conditions that a voluntary organization like Anweshi's working.
