Thirumullavaram Beach
 Thirumullavaram Beach is 6 km north from Kollam town. This beach is suitable for both sea bath and sun bath. This beach is a very beautiful beach in Kerala filled with Coconut palms, also ideal for walking. This is a favorite beach for both the locals and the tourists. One can reach the Thirumullavaram beach by bus from Kollam.Since the beach is very beautiful, any one can just sit and watch the sea and the fishermen venturing into the sea for fishing. The beach is shallow near the shores, so the visitors can have a very cool experience if they want to take a short swim. The beach is quiet and isolated from the busy town noises and vehicles. There is a beautiful rock about 1 and a half kilometers into the sea, which is named as 'Njayarazhcha Paara' means Sunday Rock, and this can be seen from the beach on low tide.
