Punalur
 Punalur is an industrial center situated about 46 km away from kollam. Kallada River passes through Punalur. There is a hanging bridge built in 1879 over the Kallada river. The bridge is a special attraction of the place. A concrete bridge has been constructed near by and now the suspension bridge is only of archaeological interest.
The scenic beauty of the Kallada river at various places s breath taking. Punalur is on the western edge of Agasthyamalai Biosphere Reserve.
