Chandamama is an Indian monthly magazine focused on kids and youngsters.
Chandamama is the longest running children magazine in India.
The magazine was launched in July, 1947 in Telugu. Chakrapani was the founder-editor of Chandamama.It is published in 14 languages.
It has stories from Medieval India, typically kings and their stories of bravery and wit.
It had quite a few characters who appeared on short comic strips. The magazine has become part of popular culture, and is very popular with younger people.
Interactive books and CDs are also part of Chandamama's efforts to reach out, educate and entertain today's young minds and offices at Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata.
