Mannarsala Sree Nagaraja Temple is one of the most important centre of snake worship in Kerala. Sree Nagaraja temple is situated at Mannarsala near Haripad town, about 35 Km away from Alappuzha on the Alappuzha-Kollam route.

Mannarasala Temple has over 30,000 images of snakes along the paths of the temple and among the trees, and is the largest such temple in Kerala.

Uruli Kamizhathu is a special offering here done by childless couple for child birth and upon the birth of the child, they return and do offerings at the temple. The special turmeric paste given as Prasadam in this temple is believed to have curative properties.

The oldest woman member of the family performs the Poojas in this temple.
