Usha School of Athletics, Calicut
Established in 2002 the school helps the youngsters with untapped potential to develop their talents, broaden their horizons, and become better citizens.
It was a proud moment in Indian athletic history when P.T.Usha came fourth in the Los Angeles Olympics. P.T. Usha who won four gold medals in the 1986 Seoul Asian Games and came close to winning India's first athletics medal in Los Angeles Olympics in 1984 in the 400m hurdles has inspired a generation of athletes and continues to be a source of motivation for the aspiring Indian Olympians.
