The St.Joseph's Boys' Higher Secondary School, Calicut is one of the oldest educational institutions in India. The St.Joseph's Boys' Higher Secondary School, Calicut run by the Society of Jesus was started way back in 1793.
The School is located at Calicut away from the hustle of the City, but still very much in the city. The School is just in the front of the historic Mother of God Cathedral, Calicut.
The School is housed in blocks for each section, Upper Primary, High School and Higher Secondary. Spread over 10 acres of land with flowering trees, ample facilities for sports and games.
The School has a well-equipped Computer lab with 22 Pentium machines connected to a Novell Netware server. The Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany laboratories have a capacity for 25 students each at a time.
