Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology (RASET) is a private self-financing technical institution affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala. The campus is located in the Rajagiri Valley.
RASET is an endeavour of the Sacred Heart Province of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) - the first-ever indigenous religious congregation for men in the Syrian Catholic tradition of Christianity in India.
Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology owes its existence to the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) congregation who are pioneers in the field of education and have effectively established a network of over 150 schools, 9 affiliated colleges and 9 technical institutions all over India.
The sprawling 90-acre campus is located on the banks of the river Chitrapuzha. It lies in close proximity to a large number of industries in the large and small-scale sectors of the industrial belt of Kerala.
