Neyyar Dam
 Neyyar Dam is located about 30 km away from Trivandrum city. Facility for Boating in the reservoir and a beautiful garden are the major attractions. The picturesque blue lake in which the reservoir is built is a beautiful site.There is another importance to this place. Some of the rare medicinal herbs are found in this area. The dam is a part of the Neyyar Wildlife sanctury. The forests accommodates elephants, tigers, wild buffaloes and a variety of snakes. A Lion safari park and a crocodile breeding center are located near to the dam. A deer park is also situated here.
