Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Pampady, Kottayam

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology (RIT) is a government engineering college located in Pampady, Kottayam, Kerala, India. It was established in 1991 and is affiliated with the Mahatma Gandhi University. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various engineering disciplines such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Information Technology.

The campus of RIT is spread over 25 acres of land and is well-equipped with modern facilities, including a library, computer labs, workshops, sports facilities, and a hostel. The faculty at the college is highly qualified and experienced, and the institute has a strong focus on providing practical training to students to help them develop their skills.

The Institute is affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University. Owned and managed by the Government of Kerala, RIT aims at providing high quality education for talented students from all sections of the society.

RIT being a Government Institution, admission is purely based on the basis of merit/rank obtained in the Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by the commissioner for Entrance Examination, Government of Kerala. There is no management quota/seats available in this institution.
