Coconut Island is an exclusive island guest house with private servants in the backwaters of Kerala.

Coconut Island is a small island located in the middle of the backwaters of Thrissur, a district in the southern Indian state of Kerala. The island is situated in the Vadanappally village of Thrissur and is known for its scenic beauty and tranquil environment.

The island is surrounded by coconut trees, and visitors can enjoy the serene backwaters while taking a stroll or relaxing in a hammock. Coconut Island is accessible only by boat, and there are several boat services available from the nearby Vadanappally village.

Visitors can also indulge in various activities such as fishing, boating, and kayaking in the backwaters. The island is an ideal place for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Coconut Island also has a small temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, which is a popular attraction among tourists. The temple hosts several cultural and religious events throughout the year.

The island is 150 meters from the shore in Canoli canal - a man made canal built for navigation in 1848. There are no inhabitants in the island other than Brahminy Kites, Pond herons, King fishers and crabs. There is only one guesthouse in one acre of Coconut Plantation, canal and mangrove forest. Coconut Island is meant for 2 people only.

The house is designed and built according to Vasthu - an ancient Indian knowledge of Architecture promising peace, prosperity and happiness to the inhabitants. It is in traditional kerala design with open verandah at all sides. The wooden pillars collected from old wooden houses supports the roof around the verandah.
