Kayamkulam Krishnapuram Palace

Krishnapuram Palace is located about 47 km from Alappuzha town in the Alappuzha-Kollam Route. This two-storeyed palace built during the reign of Marthanda Varma, the Travancore Maharaja is a Archeological Meuseum at present. This place is enriched with Wall Paintings and Architectural engravings. The wall Painting known as Gajendramoksham is very famous. The palace is today a protected as monument under the Archaeology department. Visiting hours : 9.00 am to 5.00 pm on all days except Mondays.
