Ingredients Rice Flour : 2 cups Water Salt : as to taste for the rice flour Jaggery/Cane Sugar : 3 tbsp Grated Coconut : 1.5 cups Cardamom Powder : 1 tsp Plantain Leaf / Vazha Ela Method • Boil water in a bowl along with salt. • When it starts boiling, switch off the flame and add rice flour. • Mix it to form a dough with out any lumps. • Mix grated coconut, jaggery and cardamom powder. • Take a piece of plantain leaf, spread the rice dough evenly. • Place the coconut jaggery mix in the centre and spread • Close the leaf and steam cook for 5 to 7 minutes. • Serve hot !!
