Thenga Charu

Thenga Charu - Recipe from Vanitha Pachakom 2004. Easy to cook and very tasty dish with rice. Ingredients 1. Tomato - 2 2. Coconut Grated - 4 tbsp Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp Green Chilly - 2 3. Water - 1 and a half cup 4. Salt - as to taste 5. Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp 6. Curry Leaves - 1 stem 7. Dry Red Chilly - 2 8. Oil - 1 tbsp Method Chop tomatoes and cook them in water. When cooked, add the second ingredients and salt and boil for 3 minutes. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds, Dry Red Chilly and Curry Leaves. Add this to the gravy and serve with rice.
