Rajma Masala

Rajma Masala or Pungent Fajoda is a good Goan side dish for Roti or Chappathi. Ingredients 1. Rajma Beans - 1 and a half cup 2. Dry red chillys - 3 Pepper - 1 tsp Dry Coriander - 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera) - 1 tsp Grated Coconut - 1 cup 3. Oil -2 tbsp 4. Big Onion sliced - 2 5. Tamarind pulp - 2 tbsp 6. Salt - as required Method Soak Rajma beans in water overnight. Cook them in the same water in pressure cooker. Heat the pan and fry the second ingredients and grind them. Saute sliced onions in oil. Add the masala paste also to this along with the tamarind pulp. Add the rajma beans and salt to this along with some more water. Cook for about 10 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves.
