Paneer Jalfrezi

Paneer Jalfrezi is a very tasty and delicious dish which can be served with chappathi. This recipe is from Vanitha Pachakam - 2003. Ingredients 1. Paneer cut into finger shape pieces - 80 g 2. Capsicum, Onion, Tomato all slit lengthwise - everything together 100g 3. Oil - 1 tbsp 4. Green Chilly slit lengthwise - 2 5. Ginger chopped - 1/2 tsp 6. Garlic chopped - 1/2 tsp 7. Jeerakam (Cumin) - 1/2 tsp 8. Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp Chilly Powder - 1/4 tsp Cumin Powder - 1/4 tsp Chat Masala - 1/4 tsp 9. Lemon juice - 1 tsp Method Fry the Paneer pieces in hot oil and keep aside. Add cumin, green chilly, ginger and garlic in the oil and sauté for a while. Saute Capsicum and Onion for some time till they are done. Add the 8th ingredients to this and fry for some more time. Add the paneer and the tomato to the curry and mix gently. Mix with lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves.
