Cut the plantains into 1 cm thick rectangle pieces.
Place them in a vessel along with turmeric powder and salt and cook, till done and all the water content gets evaporated.
Crush the shallots. Grind the dry red chillies in a mixer grinder.

Ingredients
Ethakkai (Raw plantain) - 2
Shallots (Small Onions) - 15 - 20
Dry red chillies - 10
Oil As required
Salt As required
