Maida Vada

Maida Vada is a very good tea time snack item, easy to be made. Ingredients Maida flour - 2 cups Asafoetida powder - 1 pinch Ginger sliced - 2 tsp Curry leaves cut into small pieces - 1 tsp Salt to taste Oil for frying Method Mix the maida flour with asafoetida powder and salt. Add the cut ginger and curry leaves to the flour and mix well.Add enough water to make it a dough. The dough should not be very loose. Heat Oil in a kadai and take parts of the dough and put it into oil as we do for bhaji. Drain it from oil in a kitchen towel. Serve with tomato sauce.
