Dry Mango Pickle

Dry Mango Pickle - Mangoes dried and made into pickle. Can be used with rice and chappathi. Ingredients Raw mango - 1 kg Red chilly power - 4 tbsp Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp Ginger - 2" piece Vinegar - 1 tbsp Salt - As required Gingerly oil - 2 cups Curry leaves - 4 stems Mustard seeds - 1 tsp Method Peel the mangoes and chop in to long pieces. Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds and curry leaves. Add red chilly powder, salt, fenugreek powder and hing. Remove from fire. Add the mango pieces and mix well. Store in an airtight container.
