Prawn Fry

Prawn Fry is a very tasty dish made by frying prawns in Oil. Ingredients Prawns - 1/4 kg Onion - 1 cup Tomato chopped - 3/4 cup Ginger - 1 inch Garlic cloves - 7 Turmeric powder - 3/4 tsp Red Chilli Powder - 1 1/2 tsp Aniseed - 3/4 tsp Curry Leaves - few Oil - 3 tsp Salt - as required Method Clean the prawns. Grind the ginger, garlic and aniseed to a fine paste. In a heavy bottom Kadai, add oil and heat it. Add the ginger-garlic paste and fry for a minute. Add tomato, onion, chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt. Fry this for 4 minutes. Add the prawns and cook till the prawns become tender. Then add curry leaves and fry it well.
