Zamorins Guruvayurappan College, Kozhikode
The Zamorin's Guruvayurappan College, Kozhikode is affiliated to the University of Calicut. The Zamorin of Calicut is the patron of the college and serves as the Educational Agency of the institution.
At the institutional level, the Principal, assisted by the college council consisting of the heads of the faculties and teacher representatives, manages academic and non-academic activities of the college.
There is an organization called the Campus Research Centre founded by Prof. T. Sobhindran which has been launching various college – neighbourhood net working programs.
The college campus is located on the lovely hillock of Pokkunnu, which has the highest altitude in Calicut. It is 8km away from the city, on its Eastern side.
