Sree Kerala Varma College, Thrissur is now in its post-golden jubilee period. The college was started on the eve of Indian Independence on August 11th 1947, by His Highness Sree Kerala Varma.
Sree Kerala Varma College is governed at present by the Cochin Devaswom Board. Sree Kerala Varma College is affiliated to the University of Calicut and is one of the most well known academic institutions in Kerala.
