Silkair
SilkAir was a regional airline based in Singapore and a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines. The airline operated scheduled passenger services to destinations in Asia, including Southeast Asia, South Asia, and China.
In November 2018, it was announced that SilkAir would undergo a significant transition as part of Singapore Airlines' strategy to merge SilkAir into its main brand. This was done to improve operational efficiency and provide a more consistent travel experience for customers. As part of this transition, SilkAir's aircraft were gradually repainted in Singapore Airlines' livery and its routes were integrated into the Singapore Airlines network.
The last SilkAir flight operated on 28 March 2021, and the airline officially merged with Singapore Airlines on 1 April 2021.
