NSS Hindu College, Changanacherry
NSS Hindu College, Changanacherry, stands tall among the premiere academic institutions of Kerala. Inspired and founded by Shri Mannathu Padmanabhan, it is beacon of light to thousands of students in and around Changanacherry.
Established in 1947, it is one of the largest colleges under Mahatma Gandhi University. It runs 14 graduate, 11 post graduate and 3 add-on courses. Three research departments in the college add to the pursuit of academic excellence. The college, with 141 teachers, 79 non teaching staff and 2200 students, is striving to maintain the high profile it has earned.
The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Re-accredited the Institution at B++ level in 2006. Today, even after several years of establishment, NSS College is on its path of lighting the candle of knowledge and wisdom to the upcoming generations adding sense to its vision - 'Thamaso Ma Jyothirgamaya'.
