Loyola College of Social Sciences, Sreekariyam, Thiruvananthapuram
Loyola College of Social Sciences, Thiruvananthapuram is managed by the Kerala Province of the Society of Jesus and is affiliated to the University of Kerala. This post-graduate college is a pioneering institution in social science education in the State.
The College offers courses in Sociology (MA), Social Work (MSW) and Personnel Management (MAPM). Besides, the College is a recognized Research Centre of the University of Kerala. Scholars pursue their PhD programme in Social Sciences here. A full-fledged extension department, Loyola Extension Services (LES), is a unique feature of the College.
In 2001, the college was accredited at the FIVE STAR level by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) of the University Grants Commission (UGC).
