Jagathy Sreekumar
Jagathy Sreekumar, popularly known as Jagathy is a Malayali Indian film actor.
He is considered as one of the best comedians in the history of Malayalam cinema. He has also directed two films, and has scripted for two films as well.
Born on January 5, 1951 at Jagathy, Thiruvananthapuram, he is the son of the noted Malayalam dramatist and writer N. K. Achary.
He has two children: Rajkumar, who is a bank employee and Parvathi,a Law graduate, and married. He has studied in School of drama,John mattai centre Trichur.
With 1,100-odd Malayalam films to his credit, he is reckoned as one of the best and most popular actors in the Malayalam film industry.
He is a different person altogether in real life, where he is very serious in contrast to the jovial characters he often portrays. He is one of those who consider acting as a true and serious profession.
