Ashish Vidyarthi is a National Film Award winning actor in India.

Ashish Vidyarthi has acted in all the regional film industries. He is the son of renowned kathak dancer Reba Vidyarthi.His father is a malayali theatre personality, Govind Vidyarthi. Even though he typically acts in Hindi movies, he has acted in several South Indian hit films.

He born in Tellicherry in Kerala in 1962 to Reba and Govind Vidyarthi. Vidyarthi's film career began with a supporting role in Kannada Film Anand with Shivraj Kumar. He has acted with every major actor in all the South Indian Industries in over 40 films.
