TrikandiyurTrikandiyur is the birth place of Thunchath Ramanujan Ezhuthachan, the father of Modern Malayalam literature. The kids are made to write in the sands of Thunjan parambu with their fingers. The famous Trikandiyur Shiva Temple is situated here. The idol at this ancient Temple is said to have been installed by Parasurama, the legendary creator of Kerala. The temple is located near the Tirur and attracts people from all over Kerala.
