Chilanthiyambalam or the Spider Temple is situated 16 km from Pathanamthitta Town. It is believed that the water in the 'Spider Well' (Chilanthi Kinar) at this temple is the best cure for Skin Diseases. The Mahalakshmi of this temple is worshipped by all people irrespective of caste and creed.
