Traditional Kerala Vegetarian Dishes -> Tomato Moru Curry

 
  Tomato Moru Curry is a an easy to prepare dish made of Tomato and Curd.

 

Ingredients:


Curd - 1 cup (thick curd will be ideal)
Tomato - 2 nos

Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp

Green Chillies - 1 nos
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Dry Red Chillies - 2
Curry leaves
Salt - as required

Tomato Moru Curry

Method:

Cook the Tomato along with a little water, turmeric powder, chilli powder, green chillies and salt.

 

Keep the mixture down from the stove.

 

Beat the Curd and mix it to the tomato mixture.

 

Pour Oil to a pan and splutter mustard seeds. Add curry leaves, and dry red chillies. 


Pour the mixture of Tomato and Curd to this on low flame.

 

Serve with Steamed or boiled rice.
