Prawns Roast - A tasty toddy shop recipe from Kollam District. Found
this recipe in Vanitha Pachakam 2005 issue.

Ingredients:
1. Raw Prawns - 1 kg

Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Pepper Powder - 1 tsp

Large Onion Chopped - 4
Ginger - 1 inch piece
Green Chilly - 4
Garlic - 1 full set
Dry Red Chillies - 3
4. Coconut Oil - 2 tbsp
5. Tomatoes chopped - 1
6. Chilly Powder - 2 tsp

Method:
Shell the prawns and de-vein them by
lightly slitting back. Cook the prawns adding the second ingredients.
Heat Oil in a pan and fry the third ingredients.
When it turns red in color, add the cooked prawns to this.
Add the chilly powder to this and add the chopped tomatoes.
Add the coconut oil also to this curry and cook until the preparation
is dry.
