A milkshake is a sweet, cold beverage
which is made from milk, ice cream or iced milk, and sweet
flavorings such as fruit syrup or chocolate sauce. Milkshake-like
recipes which use yogurt, crushed ice, and fresh fruit and which are
made without ice cream are usually called smoothies.
There is nothing quite as refreshing and tasty as a tall, frothy
milkshake on a hot summer afternoon. Four popular milkshake flavors
are vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and the black and white, made
using vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup.
