University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram
University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram is the oldest University in Kerala. The University of Travancore, which became the University of Kerala was established in 1937, much before the birth of Kerala State.
At present, the University has sixteen faculties and forty departments of teaching and research. University of Kerala has over 150 affiliated colleges.
