Konkan Railway
The Konkan Railway is a railway line which runs along along the Konkan coast of India. It was constructed and is operated by a company of the same name.
It is route from Mangalore in Karnataka to Mumbai though Goa, along the west coast of India and Western Ghats.
Konkan Railway is a proud witness to the dedication and immense engineering skills that are available in India.
It has been built by thousands of people - engineers, technicians and ordinary labourers - working anonymously in the deepest wilderness, burrowing tunnels or building bridges that would change the sky line and life style for ever. Their sweat and sacrifices have converted a dream into reality.
