Al-Shifa Hospital has a College of Nursing and a School of Nursing.
The College of Nursing offers 4 years B.Sc. Nursing and Post Basic BSc. Nursing. College of Nursing is recognized by the Kerala Nurses and midwives Council, Indian Nursing Council, the Govt. of Kerala and affiliated to University of Calicut.
The academic block is well equipped with nursing arts, laboratories, departmental library, anatomy and pathology museums. The laboratory has state of the art sophisticated instruments. The clinical teaching is conducted at the Al Shifa Hospital. The college is located in close proximity to Perintalmanna town with a total plinth area and having a land area of 6 acres of lush vegetation.
Al Shifa School of Nursing, Perintalmanna was started way back in 1994. The school offers General Nursing and Midwifery Course of 3 ½ years duration approved by Indian Nursing Council and Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council.
Initially the number of seats were 20, has now increased to 50. The school is situated in Lemon Valley in an ideal location which is in close proximity to the Perintalmanna town and to Al Shifa Hospital, the parent hospital. A wide spectrum of exposure to the students in all relevant areas of Nursing is assured. The course is highly job oriented and 100 percent placement is recorded in the recent past.
