Sivapuram touted to be a family-oriented subject with lot of action revolves around a widower Sivan played by Bala, who comes to Sivapuram village with his daughter in search of job. Muktha plays the role of the nursery teacher where Bala admits his daughter.

The pooja was held on April 23 at Kalabhavan Theatre, Thiruvananthapuram. The film has commenced shooting in May in Thodupuzha and is progressing at brisk pace.
