In the upcoming Malayalam movie, Mammootty plays the role of a corrupt Panchayath President by the name of Raghava Panikker whose few good qualities are understood only by the female lead Janaki (Sneha) who plays Panchayat Secretary.

The film which is scripted by director B. Unnikrishnan, himselves has Siddiq, Jagathy, Innocent, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Salim Kumar and Nedumudi Venu in key roles.

Produced by B C Joshy, the producer of super hit Madambi; the film is expected to be finished in one schedule. The film is a Surya Cinema Production. Producer plans to get it released during Vishu.
