Prithviraj and Padmakumar who shared a good rapport have rendered flicks like Vasthavam, Vargam and Ammakilikkoodu earlier. Prithviraj bagged a State award for the flick Vasthavam.

Pathiramanal the fourth film of the team centers on revenge. The story is about a private financer Jeevan, who lives in a hill station with his mother. His mother had become mentally challenged after she was raped by a police constable during Jeevan's childhood.

Pathiramanal will have shooting at Marayur and Alapuzha. Kalabhavan Mani will be the villain.
