Chattambinadu is comedy based action thriller where Mammootty plays Veerendra Mallaya, a Karnataka-based Malayalee estate owner with Kannada accent, his accent and mannerisms are the highlights of this movie. Lakshmi Rai is the lead actress.

The film which commenced its shooting on September, is expected to be a Christmas release.
