Angel John is a forthcoming Malayalam film starring Superstar Mohanlal in the pivotal role. The movie is directed by Jayasurya, son of famous theatre personality S.L. Puram Sadanandan. This is his second film, the first being ‘The Speed Track’ starred by Dileep.

Angel John tells the story of a B.Com student, Marodona, played by Tamil actor-director Bhagyaraj's son Santhanu. Marodona is interested in doing business, but his father wants him to become a government employee.

In college, he indulges in many mischievous acts and its seriousness leads him to try committing suicide. Angel John (Mohanlal) saves Maradona and feeds him positive vibes and attitude.

Lalu Alex, Ambika, Vijayaraghavan, Baiju, Bijukuttan, Jagathy and Sona Nair are others in the important roles.
