Sivapuram starring Bala and Muktha

Even after successive flops Bala gets newer projects as hero. Sivapuram, directed by Unni Pranav, assistant to Shaji Kailas is his new project.

Sivapuram touted to be a family-oriented subject with lot of action revolves around a widower Sivan played by Bala, who comes to Sivapuram village with his daughter in search of job. Sivan admits his daughter in a nursery, where he meets a teacher played by Muktha. Twist in the story happens when Sivan find some peculiar resemblances between his late wife and this teacher.

The pooja was held on April 23 at Kalabhavan Theatre, Thiruvananthapuram. It was attended by prominent personalities like Minister C. Divakaran, Mankode Radhakrishnan, Sampath, Madhupal, Dinesh Panicker, Kollam Thulasi, T.S. Suresh Babu and others.

The film is scripted by K.V. Anil, and Cinematography by Lal Kannan, who did camera for Chithrashalabhangalude Veedu.

Music by Shan. Lyrics by Anil Panachooran, Jofi Tharakan and Balachandran.
The film has commenced shooting in May in Thodupuzha and is progressing at brisk pace.

Also in the cast are Biju Menon, Salim Kumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Indrans, Sreejith Ravi, Manraj, Divya, Thanima, Kalpana, Usha and Kulapulli Leela.
