South India's youngest heroine Muktha George has been facing bad luck. She had a dull 2009. Her Malayalam release Kancheepurathe Kalyanam hasn't worked out well as expected. Muktha has been introduced by Laljose in film Achanurangatha Veedu. She has a number of noted films in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu to her credit, but she was not able to maintain a success in selecting roles.

The trend of taking novels to film has been there since the dawn of Malayalam industry. But filmmakers discontinued this and gone after masala contents. After the success of Ranjith's Palerimanikyam - Oru Paathiraa Kolapathakathinte Katha which was adapted from the novel having the same title has set the trend again.

The upcoming flick titled Room No. 9 B is said to be based on a novel Oru Pennum Parayathirunnathu. The script for the movie will be written by VR Sankar, who will also be directing the film. The story of the movie is said to revolve around a girl named Hima (Muktha), who falls in love which wrecks her life. Vineeth will be acting opposite Muktha.

Aneesh Menon, Seema G Nair, Vani Viswanath and Arun will also be seen in the movie portraying important roles. The movie also features Vani Viswanath
