Suresh Gopi's upcoming movie Melvilasam is scheduled for release on February 18th. Tamil actor Parthiban, who plays a major role of an army officer in Melvilasam, has also done the dubbing part.

This movie Melvilasam is based on a play by Soorya Krishnamoorthy. The film is directed by Madhav Ramadas and is produced by Muhammed Salim under the banner Mark Movies.

Melvilasam is set in the back drop of 1974, when a court martial happened. The whole movie, shot in a single room at the University Men's Hostel in Thiruvananthapuram, does not have any songs or a heroine.

Parthiban handles the role of an army officer who is being court marshaled for shooting down two of his superior officers.

Ashokan, Anoop Menon, Thalaivasal Vijay, and Nizhalgal Ravi also play prominent roles in Melvilasam.

Melvilasam will reach theatres on February, 18, 2011.
