Directed by Saji Surendran, Kunjaliyan is the upcoming comedy entertainer from Jayasurya. The film is produced by Tomichan Mulakupadam under the banner Mulakupadam Release.

The story is written by Krishna Poojappura. Ananya is the female lead. Suraaj Venjaramood, Manianpillai Raju, Vijayaragavan, Jagadish, Ashokan, Bindu Panicker, Geetha Vijayan, Kalaranjini, Thesni Khan and Reshmi Boban do the other important roles.

Kunjaliyan is the story of the lazy young man, who has three elder sisters and is being ignored by his brothers-in-law. He leaves his native place with the aim to be millionaire, but couldn’t achieve much after some years abroad. He returns home. His friend (Suraaj Venjaramood) spreads rumours that he is returning as a millionaire.

His brothers-in-law and also the local people welcomes him as a hero. The story takes a turn when Jayasurya is forced to donate Rs.10 Lacs towards a temple festival. The ways in which he tries hard to live up to his image is the crux of the story.

MG Sreekumar composes music, while camera is handled by Anil Nair.
