I.G, the film starring trigger happy Suresh Gopi will be a hit.

The story lacked pace when the film started, but later gathered momentum, from there it gets racy and vigorous. Suresh Gopi is ATS chief Durga Prasad. I.G has shades of his Tiger, Smart City etc.

Unnikrishnan has done enough research before venturing into a topic which is hot, Terrorism.

Critically reviewing B. Unnikrishan

He has done no innovation in the direction part and the script part. Unnikrishnan has followed the tried and tested script writing method, Malayalies have seen in more than a hundred films.

We have seen films like this many a times. Suresh Gopi is doing what he does best, but without any kind of improvement.

As there are not many hardcore fans for Suresh Gopi unlike Mohanlal there were claps for some of his dialogues, which show the film’s acceptance in audience. B. Unnikrishanan stresses the second motive behind terrorism .MONEY.

There are one or two tricky dialogues in film. The film may have been better if Unnikrishnan outsourced the dialogue part to another writer.

Title graphics are good. The song will not last long in mind. Cameraman Shyam Datt hasn’t done anything extraordinary.

If this film had done something innovative in the script and filmmaking part, it would have been a roaring super hit. Unnikrishnan should graduate from this basic screen play techniques and get into something new as he is not using his caliber.

Suresh should have trimmed a bit more before taking such roles. Saikumar and Ashish Vidyarthi are acting the same way as in any other films. Nandini comes in 3 scenes.

Jagathy Sreekumar, Vijayaraghavan, Kiranraj all has equally forgettable roles. Twist and drama are waiting for viewers in the climax.

Film 3/5
